Lone Star Retail Buddy is operated by Lottolabs, LLC ("Lottolabs," "we," "us," "our"), a Texas limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect from you as a retailer using LSRB, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Payment is processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — Stripe handles that directly. We do retain your subscription plan, location count, and billing status to operate your account.
Standard technical information collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services), such as IP address and browser type, consistent with typical web server logs.
We do not use analytics or tracking tools. LSRB contains no Google Analytics, no advertising or social media pixels, and no third-party behavioural tracking of any kind.
Cookies and similar storage. LSRB itself sets no cookies. When you sign in, Amazon Cognito — the service that handles authentication — sets its own session cookies, and we store your sign-in tokens in your browser's local storage so you are not asked to sign in on every page. These exist solely to keep you signed in. Clearing your browser storage signs you out; it does not affect your account.
This is a one-directional, read-only lookup. When you submit a license number, we query a public dataset published by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to see whether that number has associated sales history. We do not submit your account information, business name, or any other personal data to TDLR or the State of Texas — we only read already-public information that TDLR has published.
We do not sell your data. We do not have advertising partners, and we do not share your information with any third party for their own marketing or advertising purposes. This is a real point of difference from some consumer apps — LSRB has no ad-supported tiers.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active.
If you cancel your account, your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. For example, if you are billed on the 1st and cancel on the 5th, you keep full access through the end of that month.
After that date your account becomes inactive and you can no longer sign in. Your data — including your registered store locations, Texas Lottery license numbers, and the games you carry — is then retained for 30 days. If you resubscribe within those 30 days, your locations and settings are restored exactly as they were. After 30 days, your account information is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
If your subscription ends because of a failed payment rather than a cancellation you requested, we retain your data while we attempt to reach you, and it is not deleted on the 30-day schedule described above.
Billing records held by Stripe, Inc. are retained separately by Stripe under their own retention practices and applicable financial record-keeping requirements. Those records are not deleted when your LSRB account is deleted.
For attorney review: (a) whether "while we attempt to reach you" needs a stated outer limit, and (b) whether any data must be retained longer for tax or legal record-keeping beyond what Stripe holds.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below. If any users are California residents, confirm CCPA-specific rights language and process with counsel before publishing.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including secure hosting infrastructure through AWS. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
LSRB is a business tool intended for licensed Texas Lottery retailers and their authorized representatives. It is not directed at, or intended for use by, children, and you must be 18 or older to use the Service, consistent with Texas law governing lottery ticket sales, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will also notify you through an in-app announcement and by email to your account address. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
